This week's
Tuesdays with Dorie selection brings us Chocolate Chunk Muffins. Chosen by Bridget of
The Way the Cookie Crumbles, these sport melted chocolate, cocoa powder, and chopped chocolate and are a hybrid between a muffin and a cookie. I used Reynolds Stay Brite baking cups which are inexpensive and maintain the color/pattern better than any other fancy brand I have tried recently.

These were the perfect muffin to enjoy before boogie boarding with friends and family. I hope everyone had a wonderful fourth of July weekend and I look forward to reading over all of the variations and add-ins to these yummy treats.

Gorgeous muffins! We enjoyed them too.
Oh, stay-brite muffin cups. I thought that was a warning label - addictive! stay away! :)
It sounds like you're having a great summer!

Stay-brite - I'll have to look for those! Ahoy, boogie-boarder. Ah, the beach...even I miss it!
Looks like you had a happy 4th! Love those papers, I'll have to look for some. Nothing worse that a faded boring cupcake paper!
This was one tasty treat, I added extra chocolate chunks and served them with fresh strawberry jam! Yum.
I almost broke out the exact same baking cups for these. But then I knew my kids would some how not be interested in these muffins. Oddballs! They look great. Hope you had a great 4th!
Sounds like your fourth was fun! The muffins look really good! I just made mine:)
Fun 4th of July!!! And cute looking muffins!
I love the liners! I bought a different pattern of the Reynolds liners but I haven't used them yet. They look great!
Beautiful muffins. And I just love those liners - can't wait to look for them! :)
Thanks for the tip on the liners Mary! I have a few favorites, but I'm always looking for new ones, especially when they have pirates :)
cute muffin liners! :)
Wow, your liners attracted a lot of appreciation this week...so I will join right in...gotta find those! I also want one of those little swimmers you have featured...so cute.
Pirate muffins. YoHoHo and a bottle of Chocolate Soldier!!!
I love the wrappers! We've only tried the monkey ones, which we had to get because Gillian -loves- monkeys. =)
