Oh, Mary, I am so glad that I've been so busy and behind in my non-blogging life that I didn't even get to your blog until now, because if I'd seen this the same week that TWD ended it would have pushed me over the edge. Your reasons for stopping your blog are no doubt well-thought out so I will wish you all of the very best while at the same time counting my lucky stars that our paths crossed when we were both blogging and baking. I echo Kayte's sentiments Mary - I'll miss your posts greatly if you stop blogging! I definitely understand though, and wish you only good things in 2012. Cookies look great and now that I have said that...no, no, no, you are not excused from blogging. I will miss you too much. You have a wonderful way with words and insights and photos and it's just not fair to deprive us all of all of that. Writing is good exercise for your mind...writing is fun...writing is something to mark a place in time...writing is such a great way to meet friends who write with you each week. Think about it. If you still decide to go, I miss you already.
